MARZIPAN CANDY

Making marzipan candies is great fun for kids of all ages. This is what you need:

Ingredients:

Marzipan

Food colors

Optional tools and ingredients:

Food color markers

Candy sprinkles

Almond slivers

Melted chocolate

Just mix the marzipan with food colors and work it like play dough. Add the colors gradually, a few drops at a time - a little goes a long way.

Then let your imagination run wild, as the creators of the goodies on these two plates did. The happy faces were drawn with food color markers, and the balls with almond slivers may be porcupines. You can also dip marzipan shapes in melted chocolate.

 Marzipan candies make great holiday gifts.
